Suggestions for foods to add to a healthy diet sometimes include items such as goji berries that can be pretty hard to find in a typical supermarket. But eating healthy doesn’t mean you have to embark on a treasure hunt, there are plenty of foods that are packed with health benefits and easily available.

Nutritionist Jonny Bowden, author of “The 150 Healthiest Foods on Earth,” has provided the New York Times with a list of 11 foods that are easy to find and recommended for keeping you in good health. Some are incredibly easy to buy and use, such as frozen blueberries and cinnamon, and none of them pose any great challenge for preparation.
