In New Zealand, radiation therapists are on strike seeking pay increases. This has one doctor hopping mad and he plans on doing something about it. As a matter of fact, he plans on doing something really unusual about it. He plans to take up smoking.

"I've tried everything sensible, so now I am doing something stupid," Chris Wynne, clinical director of radiation oncology at Christchurch Hospital, told The Press newspaper. "Appealing to common sense hasn't solved these strikes."
